I'm Madelyn—designer, creative, and founder of MADHAUS.

For more than five years, I've helped clients create homes that are both deeply personal and thoughtfully functional. My approach is rooted in the belief that great design isn't about following trends—it's about creating spaces that reflect the people who live in them and support the lives they want to lead.

Every project begins by understanding how a home should feel. I love layering timeless architecture with collected pieces, natural materials, thoughtful details, and unexpected moments that give a space character. The result is an interior that feels elevated, lived in, and entirely its own.

While interior design remains at the heart of what I do, MADHAUS is evolving into something larger—a creative studio exploring the many ways thoughtful design shapes everyday life. Through interiors, original wallpaper, art, collected objects, and editorial storytelling, my goal is to create work that inspires people to live with greater intention and surround themselves with things they truly love.

I've always believed that beauty has a quiet influence. It lives in the morning light spilling across the kitchen counter, the familiar comfort of a favorite chair, the wallpaper that catches your eye every time you walk into a room, and the small rituals that transform a house into a home.

Design, to me, is ultimately about creating places that tell your story—spaces that feel timeless, personal, and meant to be lived in. Whether I'm designing a custom home, developing a new wallpaper collection, or sharing inspiration beyond the studio, my hope is always the same: to help people create homes that become the backdrop for a beautiful life.
